It will run fine, it will just throw a code on the ECM. But you want them for optimum performance. If you dyno tune, you will need 'em.

No problem!! I have done tons of reading on this stuff before I even started my other build. You will come across a lot of opinions, I was just looking for facts. I will dig through my files for any other usefull info.

I guess that depends on how "Stock" you want to keep things. Do you need it? No. Can you use the stock one? Of corse. I did not use the stock one, I just used a standard fuse block from a local supplier. I wired everything in the truck from the fuses. I ran my own relays for the lights, fuel pump and fans. I personaly would rather build it instead of trying to make the stock work, again, personal preference.

..........oh yeah, I would grab as much as you can!! even if you think you dont need it, take it anyway. It wont hurt. Make sure you grab all the front acc's, harness, ECM, and probably the MAF sensor with the air intake tube stuff.

One more thing. Depending on the year of the motor, grab the throttle pedal assembly. The "Drive By Wire" throttle bodies work from a sensor on the pedal. It would be easier to adapt the whole pedal to your truck.
