so i know its not a truck but this place seems to be the best resorce for gen III swaps i can find. so im getting ready to swap a 4.8 and 4l60e into my 55 ford fairlane and was just looking for some advice as far as what fule pump to use what cam choices and a good shorty/block hugger header im already ordering a nelson peformance wireing harness and tune i know you guys are gona tell me to go with a 5.3 or a 6.0 but i got a sweet deal on wrecked 2001 2wd gmc so icouldnt pass it up the truck only has 60000 on it and its been well mantaind up untill it hit a pole and screwd the frame
