Alright , I've managed to get by with one 16'' fan but now that I've got my a/c going again I need to finish it . All of the fans I see at junkyards are too large to supplement with the one that I'm using now - not enough room . So I'm thinking about going with a flex-a-lite 295 or 220 . The 295 is about $375 and the 220 is about $210. I'm planning on leaving the fans hooked up to a toggle switch for now . By the way , make sure that when you get your low pressure hoses fabbed to have them made with a loop . Mine was a straight shot and I guess that the engine torquing caused it to give. I'm also using the ES 12a refrigerant and all it took was 2 cans to fill it . IT blows cold and I hope it will blow colder once I have the fans right . You can read about the 12a at autorefrigerants.com . It supposedly takes 40% less energy to compress. I don't feel the usual drag when I kick the a/c on as when I had 134a.![]()
