Alright , I've managed to get by with one 16'' fan but now that I've got my a/c going again I need to finish it . All of the fans I see at junkyards are too large to supplement with the one that I'm using now - not enough room . So I'm thinking about going with a flex-a-lite 295 or 220 . The 295 is about $375 and the 220 is about $210. I'm planning on leaving the fans hooked up to a toggle switch for now . By the way , make sure that when you get your low pressure hoses fabbed to have them made with a loop . Mine was a straight shot and I guess that the engine torquing caused it to give. I'm also using the ES 12a refrigerant and all it took was 2 cans to fill it . IT blows cold and I hope it will blow colder once I have the fans right . You can read about the 12a at autorefrigerants.com . It supposedly takes 40% less energy to compress. I don't feel the usual drag when I kick the a/c on as when I had 134a.

The F-Body fans will work fine unless you have access to the newer truck fans.

How wide is your radiator? If you have the 34" core, go for the 2005 fans. You can get them from GandRautoparts and salvage in OKC for about $200 shipped to your door, brand new in a crate.

I just bought two 12" fans off ebay for $25 each. They pull about 2000 cfm each. It keeps the temps around 205* (cruisin). Sitting at idle will increase temps, but they've never gone hotter than 230*, and that's after I let it idle for like 15 mins while standing outside shootin' the breeze with a couple buddies. Gonna fix that one day.
