i have lowered my truck using spindles in the front, and for the rear i used 2inch drop shackles and 2 inch drop hangers, then removed my load leafspring. My question is, if i put 2 inch drop coils up front, would that be to much rake, or should i just get 1inch drop springs? thanks for any suggestions. here is a picture of my truck on level ground:

I guess it depends on what you want. I personally don't like alot of rake. So with that being said if you want to have some rake my opinion is 1" lower springs up front and 3" shackles and put an air dam back on the front bumper.

Putting an air dam back on it will make it look lower in the front.

If you saved the stock hangers for the springs, I'd put them back in and do a 6" flip in the rear with the 2" spring up front. It'll be low but it will be level. 2" springs up front is going to give you the factory rake, again.

Well I thought you could get 3" drop shackles but maybe not. If not then I would just leave it alone and put your airdam on or go with Red's idea if you feel like spending the money and doing the extra work. I think if you go 1 or 2 more inches lower in the front and don't lower the rear with it, the rake would be too much imo.

yeah so i think ill just put the airdam back on when i get my fog lights, i dont think have the stock hangers(the ones nthat are up front?) any more, and it was already lowered with the other peice( the shackles..the ones in the rear)... i really wish i would have bought a 4/6 kit, but if i can find the stock peices again, i might go back and lower it 6in the rear with a flip kit..thanks for the input guys

You could buy a 2" drop rear spring and c-notch the rear to get it down without a flip kit since you already have 4" of drop. I'm not sure if removing the heavy overload spring actually drops the rear any more than the thickness of the spring.

Would i be able to just C-notch the frame and put the rear end on top of the leafs, or will that just make it way to low with what i already have on it? could i re-install the original shackels and not the hangers (the ones that are at the way rear of the truck) and then flip the rear axle? I have looked for 2" drop leafs and could only find 3 inch lowering leafs. .....when i removed the heavy load spring, im guessing its about 3/4 of an inch or less...but i dont really think it was worth the effort removing..thanks
