every morning when i start my truck it sound like a real lite knock but after a while it will go away . the truck has 130,000 miles. will disaster strike?

That noise shows its ugly head........ Others have it, GM knows it, Nothing major has happened that I have heard.... And the noise goes on.......
I had an '01 and at 100K it started the knocking during warm up and then I decided I wanted a bigger engine.... "Huh, huh, he said bigger...."
Ya it does not sound good but no worries. It is cool. My 4.8 does the same. I have put 30k on the truck over the last 8 months and runs like a champ. No oil consumption or anything. It is cool man. Just part of what some of these motors do.
