Thread: cluster options on my 86 silverado

    I prefer to use my factory cluster. It looks good and I like it. But Im not sure whats involved with keeping it using a stand alone harness. My truck was a diesel so the factory under hood harness has lots of extras. Im still not real clear about how much of it will be used. Then theres digital, autometer and many more

    I it were me, I'd have to go with these bro! I just love digital but I rally haven't looked at the other options for an 86.

    I'm trying to save for the Dakota Digital 81-87 kit displayed ^^^. They've gone up in price from $615 to $640. There's another company (don't remember the name), that wants $1000 for the AutoMeter gauge kit for this same body style.

    Gauge kits cost money, but ease the worry.
