    Need some help fellas.
    I am in the process of putting a 5.3L and T56 in a 92 SWB that had a 4.3L and a 5 speed.
The question for today is regarding fuel system.
I got the fuel pump module with the donor engine. I am wondering if the donor pump will work in the swap, and will my original fuel lines work?
I am hoping to retain the lines and add braided line to hook up to my fuel rails.
If the above is possible can I use the quick connect joints on the fuel rails or do I have to change something on the rail itself?
    Hope this makes sense.
    Thanks in advance

Piece of cake. Buy a 2002 fuel filter for a Corvette, Wix 33737 I believe. Use a tubing cutter and cut the original fuel filter off at the connection. Also cut the return line at about the same place. Buy some fuel injection quality 3/8(about 6 feet) and 5/16"(about 12") hose and clamps that have the smooth side to prevent damage to the rubber hose. You can buy the quick connect female adapters at most auto parts stores, made by Dorman. You'll need two 3/8" and one 5/16" female connectors and one 3/8" male end (I buy the 12" double ended unit and cut it in half). I always double clamp every connection since the hose will be holding 58lbs of pressure.

As for the fuel pump, only thing you can do is try to replace just the pump in your tank assembly. Be sure you replace the soft rubber hose holding the factory fuel pump in place with fuel injection specific hose, again, double clamps unless you want to go back in again possibly some time in the near future to fix a hose that has blown off.
