yes it will fit but the trottle body opening sits lower and will likly interfere with the accesory drive system and you will need to convert over to a ls1 accesory drive.

IMO it will not be worth the upgrade, you have a pretty good intake there already. If you are going for LS1 intake why not go LS6??

2009 Silverado, HPTuners, all stock.
You,ll need a ls1 fuel rail. You may have to change inj. and conectors also.
Some 5.3L and 6.0L have shorter inj.
We put ls1 42lb inj. on a 5.3L and had to put spacer where the fuel rail bolted for the added hieght of the ls1 inj.
SOON TO COME!!!!
ah thanks...are there any good aftermarket intakes for the LQ4 motors? or any recomended parts that will be worth the price? im buying headers and probably pullies and custom fab a CAI of some sort

88-98s w/ LS1 type engines don't have long tubes available. You can buy a set of Hookers headers for the OBS and buy a set of LS1 flanges and have them married, maybe. Mid lengths are available from www.hotrodlane.cc or shorties can be used(save your money). Long tubes from a 99+ will not work. It has been tried.
