I did this on my 2000 silverado. I used some tube to AN fittings from Earls Performance and some pre-made stainless fuel lines. Here's an example of one of the fittings I used..

I put the vette filter/regulator in the stock fuel filter position and cut the factory lines, attached the tube to an fittings and plugged everything in.
If you need more help I can post some parts #'s and pictures of mine.

I apologize for the month late reply houston. Here are some pictures and part numbers of everything I used, by the way I ordered through summit.
Keep in mind this is on a 2000 Silverado with a returnless fuel rail, your setup may be different.

RUS-640940 X1.. AN adapter for the single feed on the front of the filter/regulator

RUS-644110 X1.. These threaded push on fittings from russell performance are some of the nicest fittings I've come across. Far nicer than the typical plastic push-on fittings.

RUS-644120 X2.. Same fittings as above, just larger diameter for the fuel feed. This will be used on the fuel rail and the 3/8 feed on the filter.

To hook up the filter you'll need a small tubing cutter, a 1/2 and 9/16 wrench. Also I used some type of thread locker just for peace of mind.
If you are able to, I would recommend measuring more carefully than I did. Mine could have looked much cleaner had I taken my time. However, I've put just over 1,000 miles on the truck with this setup and have had no leaks.
