    Lazy mans engine mount

I have been doing a metric ton of research on here but I will have a few questions. My first, we have a 93 Chevy C1500 with the 4.3 and NV3500. I don't know how much depth difference the V6 vs V8 mounts have and I know that with V8 mounts you want -1" to not have to move the tranny. Can I use the Dirty Dingo adjustable mounts on the V6 frame mounts without having to swap to V8 frame mounts and keep the tranny in the same place?

Not sure but you might as well put new mounts in while you have the motor out. Not something you want to do with the motor in there.

No you need to change to a V8 mount. The V6 mount is night and day from the V8. Just did the swap with the Dingo mounts and new V8 frame mounts. Fits like a glove

Yep same here. I had to change the V6 to V8 frame mounts then used the dirty dingo mounts on the 5.3. When you remove the V6 mounts, its a 2 person job. One person can hold the nut with a swivel and extension from the bottom and one on top with an impact gun, or at least that's what I did. There are also some rivets you may have to cut or grind off from the V6 mounts. There is a a gap between the control arm and the frame where you can access the back of the engine mount bolts. You do NOT have to remove the lower control arms !!

I probably should. I really wasn't planning on swapping it when I gave the red truck back to you. But then....
