    Engine swapping

I have a 96 C1500 and am going to swap to an LS1. Are there any parts I can use with the LS, such as the AC compressor, so I know what else to look for?

    Welcome to the site.

Check all the stickies. There is a ton of info. Look at this thread for the AC part... http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/lsx-t...acket-kit.html I still need to bite the bullet and order a kit from him to finish gathering the last piece to get my swap under way.
Been lurking since 09 and I finally have my kickass 6.0 LQ4
LQ4 LQ9 6.0L Engine Service Manual Save to your computer in case it disappears

I am just about to finish up my swap. I have his kit and will put up some pics hopefully today. Lextec has been extremely
Helpful the whole way through this swap.

I have a 98 LS1 and I live in Texas, can I use the LS6 intake and pass inspection or am I going to have to use the stock LS1 intake?
