    Turbo 4.8 reliability

I have my 4.8 swapped in my 91 obs now I have a cam specd by Martin at tick performance but haven't installed it.i plan on arp studs and ls9 gaskets my fuels system is a fuel cell, aeromotive 1000 pump with -8an lines feed and return no injectors yet 76 mm q trim magnum I really badly want to be at 650 + hp to run low eleven or high tens but also want It to last at least a year only weekend driving maybe 1500 miles every six months and I will run e85 if needed to help with tuning for reliability

That's why I thought I would ask y'all if my motor should be ok or should I just lower my expectations on hp and stay in the 500 hp range

If hp magazine can make a tt 4.8 eat 1200 HP for 3-4 pulls and not brake a sweat, 650hp should be a nice reliable truck. Depends on how often your on the skiny pedal how good of a tune etc.
I believe you going to need more than 650hp to get down in the tens, I may be wrong though. Going to need some fat meat out back too

not a fan of a martin spec'd cam...do a quick research on yellowbullet and on ls1tech and youll see why many who have paid attention dont recommend him.
