Mike, welcome to the site. Not sure what the Denali has, but you may luck out. It may have the 4L65E, which, from what I understand, is pretty much a bolt in replacement for the 4L60E.
A little digging in the snow may yield some positive results. I would measure your existing trans from bell housing flange to cross member bolt hole mounts and bell housing flange to transfer case flange. With those numbers, check the trans on the 6.0. If the numbers are the same, it's probably a 4L65E. Also note the physical locations of the electrical plugs on the trans. The 4L60/65E will have the round multi wired plug on the passenger side, just above the pan. 4L80E transmissions have the round multi plug on the driver's side of the trans.
If you find that the trans is right for you, grab whatever you can to make the swap easier. Just use your imagination and see the engine in your truck. Then use your imagination to see everything you need in order to make that swap possible in your truck. If you grab everything and don't use all of it, no harm done. If you don't grab it all, then you're into a parts search to complete the swap.
