    fuel pump help please

I have a lq4 in a 68 truck. I'm running a 2002 camaro plastic tank. I have a 2002 silverado pump and module in the tank. I am running a return system with regulator on the fuel rail. I just installed a cam and started having lean issues. Installed a fuel press gauge and found the pump is not keeping up. Drops to 45 with throttle. So I want to install a walbro. I was going to get one from racetronix but I don't know which kit to get. Can some one point me the right direction or give me pt # for a reliable kit that will work. Thanks rob

afaik, if your running that pump, it should be sufficiant... stock "LS" style motor pump or ac delco 381 or walbro 255 will all work just fine on relatively stock motors. shouldnt drp much when WOT. if youve got a big motor, thats a diff story. if not, then it sounds like you got a restriction somewhere, or your pump is failing, or....

make sure no fuel leaks. check/change filter, check pressure reg on rails. there is a tiny filter in the reg also that might be clogged... (depends where your gague is at...

I would suggest getting the AEM 320lph pump room to grow and its simple to drop in.
