years with return fuel system 4.8/5.3?

What years did the 99+ Silverado have return fuel systems? All of them? Or is it 99-02 or the 03-07? If strarted ordering small parts for my swap and need to start sourcing a motor and would like to know what years had return fuel rails with out going to several different salvage yards to find out. Good. I can run a return system cheaper than the vett filter. Also the 99-02 are DBC for the most part correct?
