    Replacing Cab Corners

I have a 89 chevy reg cab that is going to need the cab corners replaced. Im going to attempt to fix it on my own, just wanting to know what I might be up against and any tips or tricks that might make it easier. So any input well be much appreciated.

just got done welding mine in on my 92 also replaced rockers .make sure you buy a good heavy rocker Keystone makes some that are pretty good when you cut you cab corners off make sure that you don't cut into the body lines (they usually rot out in the lower part)and leave a strip of old rocker about 1/4 inch wide vertically next to the jamb opening if you can .butt welding will save you a lot of bodywork, but takes a lot of fitting don't lap them over the old you will never get them to look good .take your time might have to cut to fit several times. Its a suck job but if you take your time they will fit good.
