    LS1 Swap in 98 OBS

    Hi

    I've just finished doing ls1 swap in my 98 c1500

    i have some issues

    1- Speedo and rpm not working

    2-reverse light not working

    3- crusie control not working

    who could i solve them?

    Reverse light is controlled by the NSS- i think.
    Speedo and RPM are outups from the LS PCM and should just rewire into your old connections
    Cruise I dont know.

    If you did rewire correctly and you have issues you should check fuses and grounds.

    I know thats not much help but its all i can remember

    i think your cruise needs the 4k VSS signal i could be wrong though.
    speedo and tach are from wires on the pcm not sure which ones though. your tune will need to be changed for the tach to work right as well
    1997 RCSB, AES 390 + 4L80E transplant, F1A Procharger, #160 injectors, Magnafuel 750, Schoenfield Longtubes, 3" flowmasters, Steve Morris Bullit cam, Circle D 3k stall, Ford 9" rear, Homemade Caltrac bars.

    reverse light are ran through the Neutral safety switch which is also tied into the fuel pump wire. speedo should be either B5 or D4 on this diagram,


    tach should be E8 but you will probably need a 12v resistor inline
