i need help (timing increased by itself )

hi guys

i have a sierra 2001 1500 , 5.3 bolt ones + milling oil pump + thermostat + PRC dual spring titanium , NGK TR5IX spark plug + MSD plug wires

when my tuner tune my car we faced detention on gear 2 at wot with a full tank it became a less than before , after 3 days i took my car to a dyno to see my numbers here :



they used wideband at rear exhuast my A\F was 13.37

i took it back to my tuner to see what's wrong with it , now my tuner no matter what he does it keep boosting timing it's around 35-36 at wot

the truck was v6 then i swaped it with a 2004 5.3 i send the PCM to near by workshop which we figured out out they put Suburban stock file from 2001 !! could it be related to this ?

timing isnt going to increase on its own it will pull timing if needed, suburban stock does not pull anywhere near 35-36* of timing in stock form. the timing you see at WOT is the timing the tuner set it at.

side note if youre running 35-36* of timing on pump gas some serious is going to happen to your motor i've ran as much as 38* and that was on race fuel

yup i know something will happen soon if i don't fix this last night tuner set it at 25 to see if it will stay on it , it just keep increasing on it's own
could it be bad sensor ? or wire

The pcm cannot add timing on its own. Period. Find a new tuner.

we changed the file for new one , the old one is for a flix fuel engine !!

i will dyno it next weekend thanks a lot guys timing now set at 28
