    not firing after swap

Ok Im getting power and ground to the coils but no spark at the plug. Does anyone have the wiring schematic for the crank sensor plug on a 2001 5.3? I also might need the schematic for the cam sensor plug also. Thanks

The ckp wiring is correct . Im thinking the crank sensor is bad. What would be a good scan tool to buy?

usually one with bi directional controls, or hptuners.com

while cranking, you can verify there is crank signal and cam activity.

then tune it when you're done.

I been through the same thing when i did my swap. I pulled out alot of hair and spent lots of money on parts i didn't need. After everything else checked out, i got a junk yard computer just to prove what it was. The truck wouldn't run but at least i knew it was the problem. Back to back i got two bad computers in a row. Corrupt tunning. Just try another computer, its worth a try. Wish i tried it long before i spent so much time on it!
