    Hello from Arlington, TX

Hey guys! My name is Eric and I'm from Arlington, TX. I have a AWD 2005 Tahoe with an MIT, Spintech exhaust, and Nelson Performance tune that I just got Wednesday! My first time to the track I ran a 16.94 @ 84, so I have dubbed the truck "The Slug". I look forward to learning from you guys and meeting some of you too!

Welcome! I bet that Tahoe needs a stall and some gears. Thing would be super fun if it had AWD with 4.10s and a 3k stall. You could prolly crack 14s with just those changes.

I've been looking at a gear change. How streetable are the 4.10s and 3K stall? This is my DD and our roadtrip vehicle.

It should be very very streetable. I would guess your tire height is over 30"? If so 4.10s will be just fine even on long highway trips. As for a stall 3k should be just fine as in most cases it won't be noticeable until you hit the gas hard. You will want to add a big transmission cooler and a corvette servo to extend the life of the transmission as well. I bet you could get all that done for around $1500.
