    5.3 Oil pan removal

    I have a 2000 GMC Serria 2WD, with 5.3 engine...my question is can the oil pan be removed with the engine installed and are there any special issues...Thanks

    Drop it...remove that crossmember and possibly two large steering bolts
    Slowest in Oklahoma...
