'90 chevy k1500 LS1 swap, need advice
hey guys/girls, I have a 1990 chevy k1500 with a k3500 1 ton donor truck, I fully intend on swapping the 4L80E, T-case, and 1ton rear end into my 1500, due to the donor truck being completely rotted out. I have a LS1 that I spun crank bearings in that i pulled out of my '00 Z28 camaro. I want to have a fully build supercharged street truck that I can DD, go mudding, and tow my toys, and my friends toys, and be able to pull basically what ever I want without any issues, is this a reasonable goal for this motor/swap combo? It's a single cab Long bed, if that makes a difference.
When I go about shopping for parts, exhaust, internals, and bolt ons, can i just directly shop for the LS1 from sites like Bruteforce and Texas-speed? or will this conversion be different parts.
