I'm about to finish up my swap (v6 to v8)/frame off rebuild and I ran across the cable in the pics below. I need help identifying it. I've looked everywhere and have not been able to find anything. I also don't see a similar cable anywhere on my '01 Suburban. It looks very similar to the transmission cable, but is only about 2 foot long (camera in the pic for size reference). Transmission cable is currently installed and shifter works, e-brake cable is installed and working. Hood latch cable is installed and working. The truck is a '99 that had a v6. Wondering it is only related to the v6 somewhere or perhaps something with the seats (since the interior is gutted). Ideas?
