Best tire for street traction and occasional track use

Hey all. I am replacing the tires on my 02 Silverado 2wd lowered. It has BF Goodrich G-Force new tread on the rear, Hankook Ventus ST in the front. 20" wheels. I like the G-Force for the few miles I've had them. One got ruined with nail. Before I get more I just wanted to see what y'all feel is the best tire. The tires now are 275/45-20 front, 265/50-20 rear. I'm not loving the size on the rear so I'll prob. change that. Also don't mind running separate brands or sizes FR/RR. I'm a function over style person.

    Thanks in Advance

nitto 555r will be best for traction with 20" wheels. no other tire will come close.

That's what I had before was the Ventus ST same size all around. They didn't come close to having good traction in the back. They spun badly from a stop, and mid to high rpm in 2nd, and high rpm in 3rd. That's what prompted the change to the rear.

Nitto NT05s are my favorite, and the NT05r are supose to be better, but more like a drag radial.

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

I hated the G-force, they never had any traction for my truck
    Name: Mark,
God created turbo lag so nitrous trucks could have a chance.

I have better traction with my Michelin's than I did with my gForce t/a's. And the BFG's were 285's and the Michelin's are 265's.
