Fuel pump to flex hose connection in 95
3 hours of searching and I just cant seem to get an answer anywhere. I am in the process of upgrading my fuel pump for my LQ4 conversion. In my 95 stock assembly, the pump just pulls out from the hose connection. (The flex hose is not clamped directly to the bung on the pump). I was concerned that since it just pushed in, there would be leakage around the bung with the higher pressures. My first thought was to just clamp the hose directly on the pump like I see in so many other pics. The problem is there is a small coiled black line that T's into this connection. Should I just press in the pump and be done with it or abandon the smaller line on the side and clamp it directly?
