    Few wiring questions

My nelson harness arrived, I have it all plugged up on the engine and trans. I am going to start wiring it up over the next few days, everything looks straight forward on it to me, they definitely do nice work!

On the factory harness are the only wires I need to worry about keeping are my original wires and plugs for AC, Oil pressure and Temp for the dash?? Everything else can be clipped off, taped and tucked into the original loom for a cleaner look??

Where did you tap into the speedo wire? My truck does not have a tach cluster, also on the nelson harness how did you hook up your check engine light, also did you mount the diagnostic port under hood?

i found the diagram for my year c100 connector. i'm not sure how the wiring is on the 91. for now i have the OBD2 port under the hood, i plan on tapping back into the one under the dash. for the CEL i came off the ground side of the LED on the Nelson harness & tied into the correct wire on my c100 connector.

it is between the fender and the brake booster on the driver side on your truck.
See my truck data in the "My Garage" section here... http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/my-ga...tml#post191709
