    stand alone 4L60E?

    What do I need to make it stand alone for my 89 k1500? Thanks for all the input guys! Have learned a lot here.

    TCI makes a stand alone unit called EZ-TCU I think?? It's not cheap it's about $800.00, that's the only one I know of.

    Thanks TRP, I've considered a full swap but I would have to strip every single wire out and redo the harness lol, not fun!

    In my hot rod I just went full manual because I didnt want to pay a bunch for a stand alone.

    i think that if you use the stand alone you need to find a way to rig up a tps sensor for the standalone to work properly.

    The engine that's in it is a tuned port 350 from an iroc z, now I know that it has a tps but could I pull from it to the trans controller?

    Also, do you think it would be somewhat easy to gut this and just do a full combo swap? Or sell it get a swb reg cab and then try? Thanks for the help
