My 03 Silvy still has the stock checker board grille. I was thinking about plasti dipping the grille and painting the bowtie black. Anybody done it?
I've done a few parts here and there, and have a buddy that did his front bumper and grille on his OBS. He did it right, and put it on thick. I think he did it 6-8 months ago and it still looks new. Even when his mother in law hit his truck, all it did was transfer her paint. The best advice I can give is go slow. You want basically just to mist every layer on. The pic in my sig is what my OBS looked like when I Plasti Dipped it. I did the bumper and grille guard.
Racing is a real sport. Because football, baseball, soccer, and golf only require one ball.
