Thread: need info on shocks.

    need info on shocks.

well iv been into building prerunners for years but now i finally have the money to have a nice tow rig and a prerunner as a toy. i have a 2007 classic silverado crew cab.
just installed a flip kit in the rear with the supplied c notch, and shocks. but the shocks are wayyyyy too soft. I need some help on choosing a stiffer shock. I dont want it extremely stiff but i need to be able to put a jetski or two in the bed without having the truck slam the floor.
    thanks!

You don't need shocks, you need air bags of some sorts.

LOL, too funny. Maybe you should take it to the shop more often. Assist bags are still great to have so you can use the truck like a truck.

I don't know what you're running but a lot of people like Belltech Street Performance shocks. Agreed with Greg, get a set of helper bags since it sounds like you're going to be towing a lot. McGaughy's makes a nice set.
