the approximate distance from the round bosses on front cover to rear of torsional damper pulley.....

Thanks Red but I was actually looking for the total dimensions for the motor. Like total length and width to the furthest points. If you got those specs that would help. Thanks again.
Maybe this will be of some help. This is the marine vortec 6000 engine. It should have the same basic dementions of the ls1 engine.

I thought you had an LS1 in your Sierra. Measure it and subtract the difference between your type motor and the Vette motor. They're all the same blocks dimensionally, just different drive pulleys and brackets. Since you have the truck pulleys your engine is 1.65" longer than the Vette engine at the crankshaft pulley. I don't know how much further, if any, the water pump sticks out on the truck pump though. I am sure it is about the same amount as the difference between the vette and truck pulleys minus the fact that the vette has never had an engine driven fan in a LS1 powered version.
