    Exclamation Help!!! Novak ac

Just tried to install my Novak ac bracket and in the directions it says to flip the belt tensioner 180 degrees and counter sink a bolt on the water pump...

Tried that and it's a no go.

So my question is, is there a diff tensioner I could use?? Or am I going to have to get a diff water pump to where the tensioner is not hitting the water pump??

    Any info is appreciated!

Its been a little while, but I have installed a Novak kit. I remember countersinking a bolt and having to grind FOREVER on the backside of the tensioner. Good luck.

It just takes ALOT of grinding. I mean ALOT. But it works.

This is timely. I just finished grinding mine. Use a cutoff wheel. Aluminum will clogg up a stone or grinding tip. It will fit after removing enough material. My problem is the tension is opposite of what they want. The spring and cup will only go in one way and I can't see how the tension will be correct. I'm thinking there must be another tensioner with different clocking.

T-shark, when I bolt up the pulley that came with the kit, the washer and bolt lock it up so it won't turn. Also, the bearing shaft for the pulley only goes about half way thru the pulley bearing. What did you do?
