    New belt with UD pulleys?

    Just ordered the ASP UD pulleys bit do I need a new smaller belt?
    2000 Silverado Ecsb 5.3 Z71. Work in progress...

    I won't be home till Friday after work but I prolly won't get them till sometime next week, if ya get the part number I'd appreciate it. I'm trying to find it online now..

    Did you get just the crank pulley or get the overdrive alternator pulley also?

    i also had an ASP pulley on my old truck and i too didnt have the part number. i did the string trick and ran it in the serpentine belt order and measured the length and bought a 6 rib belt at the local auto parts store. worked great for me...

    That works or you can always use the old belt and cut and measure it...take it in and tel them "match this length"

    This was on there website for 99-03 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0.
    Accessory Belt w/ Crank only: Gates K060895 AC Belt: K040345
    w/ Crank & Alternator Pulley: Gates K060900 AC Belt: K040345
