Newer gauge cluster in an obs q's

I have a gauge cluster out of an 01 sonoma w/tach 7k rpm. I want to swap this in with my 06 lq4. What I'm wondering is if the gauges will work with that comp? I.e. Water temp, oil pressure, battery? Is my fuel sender gauge signal from my 92 the same as the 01? Finally just wondering about the vss from my 92. I know it's different but is there a way to convert it to work with the 01 cluster? Sorry lot of q's on or post.

Upon reading an scouring the web I have found a lot of info on the vss issue. Apparently tbi trucks had a 2 pulse(or 2000 pulses a mile) signal where as 96 and up had a 4 pulse? So Im guessing I can use a newer sensor in place of my 2 pulse and it should work IF the reluctor wheels are the same which im hoping they are. Anyone feel free to chime in...

I am interested in if and how it would work, but I have no knowledge on the subject

From what Ive found so far most the gauges will wire in just fine- battery, water temp, oil pressure. The speedo should just be a matter of changing out my vss for one from a 96+ as apparently all gm reluctor wheels are the same. I believe the tach should be fine but Im not sure considering the gauge is from a 4cly and Im running a v8. Ill keep lookin into it.

The reluctor wheel I was referring to is the VSS reluctor wheel in the transmission or the transfer case on 4wd. Sorry for the confusion.
