    lq4 build

Got a stock crank with stock ls cracked cap rods with arp 2000 rod bolts and floating wrist pins. going to be getting stock style lq9 flat top pistons. have 317 heads that i am porting and polishing right now. want to mill the heads .015" and get the tsp 224r. Will all of this work together and how much power?

Confused, how much power it will make or it can hold? Should be a stout motor but think you need tuning to maximize all you have done to etthe most out of it.

Will the combination of pistons cam and heads milled work together for ptv clearance and what compression ratio should it be once the heads are milled .015". How much hp do you think it will make i will be getting a 4l80e trans with around a 3200 stall. once its all in the truck i will be getting it dyno tuned.

PtV clearance you can check yourself. Nobody has ever really gotten a standard measurement yet. So naturally it is hard to say weather or not your valves will clear. A little bit of trigonometry can fix that though. Check your piston to deck height, then lay a straight edge on the deck of the cylinder head with the intake valve seated. Measure the distance between the straight edge and the lowest part of the valve head. Then add what ever the overall lift of the camshaft(be sure to remember that the valves are at a 15dg angle) is to that plus the compressed height of the head gasket. And that should get you ballparked.
