    PT4400...too much??

Heys guys, I'm getting a killer deal on a Yank PT4400 from a buddy for $200. I'm going to do a big cam and ported 243s and probably a Vic jr on my stock 5.3. I'm going for record like numbers and I also plan on spraying anywhere from a 100-200 shot. Is this stall goin to be too loose with the spray?

Big stall is a major factor in a quick truck. A 4k does act kinda strange around town lol

not to sound like an idoit, just thats one thing i never really understood, how does the truck take off with such a 4k stall, does anything benefit if putting like a 3 k stall in a truck with stock cam or does that sound like something studpid to do, i got 204k on the motor now, i dont think she's feeling a cam right now maybe better wait till i put this new one in with 4" stroke 383.. haha want this oringal to hit 300k? think its possible, if i dont act like a dumb ass 24/7..

    DO IT!

your small/light truck, and the lack or LOW RPM torque your 5.3L will be producing, the high stall will be great!
just be sure to get a big trans cooler, or two of them.

Well if Allen says to do it, then I'm good. That's the same thing my roommate and I were discussing. Do you think one 40000 gvw cooler will be enough?
