    Anyone running a turbo/t56 setup?

Just sold my ls1 fbody and looking for something different, really considering a truck. I have a complete ls3/l92 out of an 08 Escalade with 8k miles l76 intake and an f body t56.
Question is anyone out there already running a turbo'd ls T56 truck,

And is anyone running a 4wd t56 setup on a truck? Still looking around for a truck not sure if I should even consider a 4wd. I have drag racing in mind with this build, but it might work out better as just a street setup rather than track due to the t56. Let me know what you guys think.

    Awesome lol
is it going in the truck? Turbo? How far are you from getting it going?

I guess I could do without the 4wd and if traction becomes an issue I can always get the parts later down the road.

One of the best parts about this idea is clearly the fact that it will be very unique. So I say....... GO FOR IT!

ill say this the T56 is a nice trans but in stock form its not going to handle the weight. Im on my 3rd trans, First being a Liberty T56 that was proshifted gernaded it behind a NA 408, then bought a viper T56 and hurt that behind a turbo 4.8, now i have a viper spec'd T56 built by me and its holding up better.

ill say one thing that needs replaced is the master, stock truck masters dont have enough bore size to properly disengage a Fbody clutch. I bought a Tick performance corvette master that uses a 7/8 bore an seems to be disengaging the clutch much better. not to mention the stock clutch line is junk, i upgraded to a -4 line with AN fittings instead of the pure design stock line that has teh 1/16 restrictor, my pedal is very firm now using these two upgraded items. Youll have more into a trans, bell housing, master cylinder/ lines then you would an 80e. then you have a clutch which will cost near 1k. the 80e swap is cheaper at first

i wouldnt even think of using a t56 behind a 4wd truck for performance, the weight of these trucks being 2wd is to much.

using this trans makes for one hell of a highway bruiser or corner carver if your setup for that

Just buy my truck and sell the other stuff. Already awd Trans is the best 4l80 FLT makes. The only option it doesn't have is a trans brake. + you would be helping me get out of debt, pay my house off, put my kid through school, and feed my two rotten dogs. LOL
99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.
