Understanding Cam and Ignition Taming (educational purposes)

To help get a better understanding of cam timing I have been doing some research. The cam I am using for example is the stock 5.3 LM7 Cam

    190/191 int/exh @ 0.05" duration
    0.466" / 0.457" int/exh lift
    114 LSA
So I understand that it takes 190* for the intake to open and close and 191* for the exhaust to open and close when open and closed is determined at .05" and that the midpoint of the exhaust opening and closing are separated by 114*. I've heard that sometimes the cams begin to open a few degrees before or after TDC. What I'm trying to understand is exactly when does the intake begin to open specifically on a stock 5.3 LM7.

Also, is there any information available on ignition timing? I would like to know what the typical ignition numbers are for idling, highway cruising (~65MPH) and WOT.

Thanks for any help in advance, just trying to expand my knowledge of the engine.

Someone should be able to screen shot their logs from HPT or EFI live for the timing. Or you can usually find logs on the websites for the respective software (I believe both have pretty good forum assistance)
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
