    Paddle shifter from Corvette

Has anybody done this before? I was looking for a used 6l80 when I came across a steering wheel with paddle shift from a 2010 Vette. Anybody know if it would be possible to do a conversion? I think that would be a pretty sweet setup

I've got it in my 2010. I don't much care for it. It never shifts quickly enough.

Will they hold a gear in "M" mode or do they have an idiot backup and still shift on their own?

My "M" option holds until redline. If I drop it in 1st it will automatically fall to the idiot backup and shift for you. The manual option on mine is only good for braking w/ a trailer, takes waaay too long to shift effectively.
