    transfer case wiring

Hey guys, I am trying to figure how to get my 4wd working again on my 95 chevy. The only place I touched any of the wiring related to the 4wd system is a grey/black wire going to connector c2 on pin f8. This wire goes from the transfer case switch to the PCM. Right now it is a bare wire end because I removed the old PCM. My first question is what is the function of this wire? Is it supposed to be an input to the PCM or output from the PCM. The reason I ask is because I noticed on the 2005 diagrams there is a grey/black wire (pin 16 green connector) labeled 4wd low signal going from the 2005 PCM to a transfer case control module and transmission control module. I tried connecting the c2 f8 wire from the old pcm to pin16 green and it doesn't work so I am missing something. Any ideas??

    Thanks

I'm going to try and help you. I just had to do the same on my 95 also, but mine is a manual trans so no need for the computer to know when it's in low lock.I assume this is a automatic? The purpose for that wire is for an auto trans so it will shift when its in low lock. Did you cut any of the black/white wires at the 4x4 connector? If so I know one of them isn't a ground it's the power wire for the actuator and the 4x4 light IIRC. Check the fuse also.
