    Leveling Kit

I had the Daystar 2" front level kit (spacers) on my 2004 Silverado 2WD and now want to put them on my 2010 Silverado 4WD. Do these install the same way or is there more to it? My step brother installed the top mount level kit on his 2008 Silverado 2WD and ended up having to have a front wheel bearing replaced not to long after. Maybe just a coincidence, but double checking. Any other ideas other than daystars?

There are many choices for both bottom spacers and top, both will net you the level you want, and they're all in the same price range. The Rough Country 2" spacer is probably the most popular bottom one while the 2.5" CCM is the most popular for top spacers. With the CCM, you need to trim the bolts and swap struts side to side which is kind of a PITA. Recently, many have been getting the Top Gun Customs kit, it's a top spacer that doesn't force you to swap struts side to side or trim bolts. If it were my preference, I'd get the TGC kit.

Remember to do an alignment after you install whichever one you pick

Ranch sells a complete lift strut assembly too (2''). Could help improve ride quality for a few extra bucks.

I'm liking the RC. Seems like a pretty basic install.
