    The new Bullet!!!

i have had alot of guys ask me that i dont post much about hayhauler anymore, and i play alot more with lil sis...lol

    so here it goes...

the guys over at HKE are working their butts off to get it ready in time ( which it will be) for the shootout..

Mike over at TEA did a great job in getting these heads in for me in time.."Thanks"

Callies also got cranking on a brand new center counter weight crank for us in time to get it all together......this crank is so bad ass i want to put it in my living room for show, talk about quality...dammmm its like a freaking mirror..Thanks guys

the shortblock is already set and done, need some misc. parts for the shaft mount crower rockers to get them on there..

but overall its coming along...The HKE guys have been at it long nights to get everything finished up...

so there it goes guys, i was a litle secrative while parts were being orderd and such but now ...it seems like we have everything...

    its a 427 LSx
Enough compression to make u think if its an N/A Motor....lol
    solid roller cam 850" lift
    CCW callies crank
    TrickFlow 265.....yes 265
and ALOT of other stuff to list...

I am curious why you went with these heads over some of the larger rectangular port heads? I understand that cathedral ports are favored over rectangular, i just dont know much about these heads.

How much boost are you planning? What are you doing as far as springs? Surely with an 850 lift cam and a lot of boost that'll be an interesting piece of the puzzle.

thanks, boost wise, lets just say it can now handle past 35 without any issues...
my previous 414 went boom on a 37 psi pass...lol it was meant to happen, it has been abused so much...any way a non center counterweight crank is only good till about 1500-1600 or so...which past that it breaks...guess we found the weak link about that..
