    OBS wheels sizes?

My wife DDs a 5.3 swapped 98 shortwide. It has 15x7 Torq Thrust IIs but we'd like to swap to the 17x9.5

My understanding is that the front offset needs to be different than the rear because the wheels stick out further than the rear, and I do see that problem all the time on the 88-98 body style. It looks like this trusk if you get them all the same offset: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Torq-...4#ht_500wt_914

Can anyone tell me the specs I need to get the wheels in flush?

It's not as noticeable on the 2wds. I always ran the same wheels front and back on my OBS 2wds, never thought it looked odd. You could always use the same wheels and run a small spacer on the back.

Making the rear match the front isn't an option, then they would both stick out too far My wife is VERY picky with her vehicles, beyond the level of most car guys and she wouldn't stand for them sticking out at all, let alone the fact that it would get the truck dirty faster.

I've never heard that it was only the 4wd before though, odd. With her 15x7 TT2s it's already visible that they are out further in the front

You'd need the -11 offset from the 17x8 for the front. The 17x9.5's are 0 offset, so the hub is in the center of the rim. You need the hub more towards the wheel lip, not towards the shock tower. http://www.tirefactory.net/Torq.html
