    New from Waco, TX

    Just bought a 2000 extd cab short bed silverado, 110k miles and i picked her up for $4K. Clear title but she needs some TLC... and some MODS!!! She's got 2" drop shackles and a set of American Racing 20s. Shes got a few little issues, the fuel gauge goes full/empty every so often, and the seat handles are broken. Other than that its mainly a lot of little routine things that i can fix, brakes, mounts, seals, etc. Shoot me any tips/ advice, deals on parts etc. Tryin to get better mpg and hp at the same time. Just took the chrome fender flares off, and working on demolding & debadging it.

    The gas gauge playing ping pong is a faulty sending unit in the tank. When you replace the sending unit get a walbro fuel pump, you will thank me later

    thanks for the responses, and i think i have seen the red ss around town, my homeboy tommy just bought a blk 03 so you might run into us around waco, we hang out at schroders on waco drive a lot. ill look into the walboro! gotta few other little things to str8en out soon before i start modding like crazy, rear brake valve, pinion & output shaft seal, tranny mount, power steering pump, and the brake pads. i might try and ride the brakes out and upgrade to ebc or ssbc rotors & pads.

    Yeah I know Tommy. I went with him to look at the black SS when we was thinking about buying it. Ask him about Daniel. Thats me. He was just at my house the other day. We ran them to see the dif between My truck and a Stock SS
