Does anyone have the part number for the camaro 3 wire coolant temperature sensor that will allow me to drive my stock temperature gauge as well as the PCM input? I also need the p/n for the connector that mates to the sensor. I tried to search for this but didn't turn anything up. Thanks!

Sensor is PN 12551708. I don't know the connector number but it is the exact same one that the AC pressure switch uses on the Camaro.

I picked up the sensor at OReilly auto parts. Theirs was a lot cheaper than the Chevy dealer or even GMPARTSDIRECT.COM

Does it just screw in where the original one is or do I have to drill a hole?

In the orignal hole. Two wires are for the PCM and the third goes to your guage on the dash.

I actually have two of the sensors installed. I have the 2001 model in the left front for the PCM and the 1998 model in the right rear for the guage. I didn't want to have to mess with the wiring harness.
