    Awesome Site!

Hello eveyone! I was just about to do a 5.3 swap into my 2000 Sierra 1500 single cab short bed then I saw this site. It currently was a v6 and 3.08 rear end and it is SLOW!! I want more power and as I work at a salvage yard I can get most anything for cheap. I just bought a 5.3 complete with EVERYTHING, computer, all accessories, fan clutch, flexplate, torque converter, mass air, intake pipe, motor mounts, and the complete harness. It came out of a 01 yukon with a cable throttle, I think I have everything but just wanted to check. Will the fuel lines from the v8 work?

No. What year is the engine, is it a return or returnless style fuel rail setup? I just bought foot long fuel line and added it on to make it work. Was pretty easy and cheap.

2001 should be a return style system, you will have to get fuel line adapters and i ran steel braided line, but u can do as you wish
