    pro flo xt intake

    hey guys i have a question with this intake since i know a couple of guys on here are running it. what injectors do you guys use and how did you get them to fit. i have the 42 lb truck injectors i got from nelson performance and i cant get them to seat at all. any help you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated. thanks

    are they truck injectors? if so i think that is the issue.

    If they are the 8.1L marine injectors, the o-rings may be the wrong size. I am not exactly sure on what size you need though...

    i think the problem im running into is that black collar on the bottom of the injector. do you guys think it is removable or what injectors do you guys think i need to run.

    Its not the oring. You need to drill out the holes in the intake. It just needs to be big enough to clear the plastic end. Don't worry about sealing, the injector will push all the way down till the taper bottoms out. just don't go too big with the holes. I've done a couple now that had to be done this way.

    Yeah what he said^^^ You could get it ported also if you want... depending on your mods of course

    i dont suppose you remeber what size drill bit you used?

    I can look tomorrow and see. Just measure the upper ring on the plastic end of the injector and drill it for that size, or a couple thousands bigger.
