    lm4 5.3l

    How much power can these take before they blow. just wondering cause i dont wanna blow it for 3 years until its payed off lol. thanks zach

    thats a loaded question. if your still paying on it then wait to mod it.

    i kinda want some more poiwer and just wanted to know what all that motor can handle. didnt know if it could handle as muchas a 1999 4.9

    again its a loaded question. i can tell you that motor in the right hands will see 1100 flywheel hp, i can also say in the wrong hands it will die at 300 flywheel hp


    the internals arent hte limits with these motors. its the ppl who touch them

    i get your point its got i think 113000 on it after this weekend.and it got drove hard cause i was playing in the mud alot. didnt get stuck though.

    You can do all of the typical bolt ons:
    CAI
    LT headers
    UD
    Cam
    TB
    Intake
    Heads
    etc...

    But make sure to get a good tune to make it all work well.

    a bunch of people are trying to get me to put a 150 shot on it would it handle it.jw and i can get the tube for the intake would that help any

    It would handle it, but the tuning has to be real good. And no spraying through shifts!

    Prob not going to last 3 years if you are spaying 150 a lot. I would stick with the bolt ons until you are ready to pay for something when it breaks.

    ive always sprayed thru shifts. killing the spray before the shift is horrible on a motor and trans. yes i sprayed 100% stock tranny
