    Flowmaster Or Custom?

I am ordering parts for my exhaust today and i cant decide if i should buy the flowmaster muscle truck kit, or buy a super 44 and have custom tailpipes welded up, they will end up costing about the same. Does anyone know the difference in performance i might see?

Chambered mufflers like Flowmaster cannot be tuned to provide as much performance gain as straight through designs like Magnaflow or Corsa.

i say if you like the sound of flowmaster go for it, i ran flowmasters, magnaflows, and borla mufflers on my truck. the only difference i noticed was sound. peroformance wise they all performed better than stock. magnaflow was to quiet for my taste, i like borla and flowmaster.
