Is there a snap ring on the factory uppers?

the ball joint, did they come from the factory with snap rings or just pressed in? I am about to remove mine.

the top ones are pressed in an the bottom ones are riveted in..well on my 01 thats how it was...sorry didnt notice the thread

I surely hope I never see or hear of a ball joint with a snap ring.
