Hi! Names Tom and im from Longisland NY. I dont have an LS1 truck but i do have a truck and an LS1. . . .. My truck is a 89 Chevy C/K 1500 4x4 stepside. I got the truck a few months ago and just started working on it. Nothing is done to the engine but ive striped the truck down totally, replaced a bad leaf spring hanger, general tune up, and im prepping it for paint. I really wanna get into some more outdoor sports and off roading so im going to spray it with rustolem for durability. Dont really know what else to say so heres some pictures of my rides:

These are old, right now my truck has no doors, bed, fenders, bumpers or hood.








Heres some of my Camaro. I got in an accident so anything with a flatblack nose will be fixed shortly.

Actually i forgot to mention that swapping motors is my goal. I intend to put my LS1 from my Camaro (which has 104k on it) in the truck and build a better LS1 for my Camaro. The only concern i had was keeping the 4WD, thats why i joined here to see what to do.

Thanks everyone! Hopefully i can contribute some to this site. For now my truck is just my beater . I really wanted to fix it up nice but money came into play as well as time. Actually, today i just sprayed some of it with 1 stage paint, looks good but not as a CC/BC. Will post some pics soon of my progress.
